Chef Phongpera Nitiprasongphol, 51 years old, as known as Chef Nid was born in Bangkapi, Bangkok.
He comes from a family of 10 with his parents and 7 other siblings. He is the youngest one who loves to cook for the whole family.
He had been helping his family business selling street food since he was 11 years old. He opened his very first owns street food business at home after graduation.
He is the third generation selling street food with his own family recipe. After a few years at the age of 30, he flew to pursue his career in cooking and earn more experiences in UK and USA. Growing up in street food family business, he always find himself with a passion of cooking Thai street food.
He came to Canada in 2016, he has been helping several Thai restaurants with setting up kitchens and manage recipes.
His personal favourite dishes are Pad Kraprao, Kanom Jeen, Green Curry and Yentafo. Now with 40 years experience in cooking, he is ready to present Thai street food with his tasting for Toronto with EAT BKK THAI STREET FOOD at 580 Queen Street West. and EAT BKK THAI KITCHEN at 898 Queen Street East.
